A great little coffee place! Semi-Outside seating is really the only option so keep that in mind. Additionally, parking is difficult. When me and my party entered the building we were greeted, which is a plus as many establishments have seemingly gotten rid of this simple greeting. The place smelled great and the pastries and food case looked incredible! There was a line and we were told that a line wasn’t uncommon for this place which was a good sign even though we had to wait much longer than other places. The espresso was amazing and I asked for some flavoring in it but it seemed to have not been stirred in so my first sip was of the syrup only and it wasn’t pleasant. Make sure you stir your drinks! Besides that the bean quality was very nice and the cup was beyond enjoyable Others in the party all expressed positive reactions to their drinks with one of them claiming that “It’s the best coffee I’ve had in Athens thus far!” While one party member’s drink was made wrong they didn’t mind because what they were drinking was still good. Hands down the best coffee shop in Athens! The baristas are amazing and welcoming, and they have a wide variety of coffee (drips, specialty lattes, special brews, frappe etc.) As well as smoothies and fresh pastries. The lattes are always crisp and flavorful. There is also seating available to study or chat with a friend.

This is my first time coming here I loved the aesthetics, the girl at the counter was helpful in answering questions! I went with the lavender honey iced latte 10/10! My friend got the toffee nut iced latte also 10/10 their muffins were a 20/10 AMAZING!!! We got the apple one and the blueberry one soooo moist and dense just how a muffin should be! Will be coming back for sure to try other things on the menu!!!!

Hands down, the best Americano I’ve had in my 63 years—and yes, I’m counting. Sips Coffee Shop is a delightful gem in Athens with a charming atmosphere, great location, and a staff that’s as warm as the coffee. Zero complaints, plenty of smiles. Highly recommended.

Really good espresso and there is a cool indoor/outdoor patio with chairs and tables to get work done or hangout. Seating available outside and there is a walk up window to order there as well.
